Chobak Invited to USA Hockey National Goaltending Camp

Chobak selected for development opportunity at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan from May 15-17
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – St. Cloud State Women's Hockey graduate student goaltender Jojo Chobak (Chicago, Ill.) has been invited to participate in the USA Hockey National Goaltending Camp, as announced by the organization Friday. The camp is set for May 15-17 at the USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Mich. This is the third consecutive USA Hockey National Goaltending Camp that Chobak has been invited to/will attend.
The Chicago native is one 12 women American goaltenders from around the country who have been invited to the development opportunity. In total, 24 goaltenders and 12 defenders will be in attendance. Goaltending invitees range from 16 to 24-years-old and include 12 men and 12 women, while the group of defenders, 12 women, range from 15 to 21 years-old.
The multi-day camp will consist of both on-ice and off-ice skill development for the invitees and will provide the opportunity for both the goalies and defenders to learn from the camp's experienced staff, while growing their game alongside their peers.
Chobak is coming off a redshirt season in 2024-25. In 2023-24, she went 7-11-1 over 17 starts and established new program records for single season save percentage (.939) and goals against average (1.64). She also reorded four shutouts. Chobak also enjoyed a phenomenal debut season with St. Cloud State in 2022-23, going 9-7-1 across 17 starts, posting a .923 save percentage alongside a 2.46 goals against average. That season she broke the Huskies single-season shutout record with five clean sheets throughout the season.
