
Four St. Cloud State Baseball Players Earn Academic All-District® Honors

Brassfield, Jacobson, Kolacia and Tweet cited by CSC for academic and athletics performance
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Four St. Cloud State Baseball student-athletes have been named to the 2025 Academic All-District® Baseball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). Junior Bryce Brassfield (Gilbert, Ariz.), redshirt junior Brayden Jacobson (West Fargo, N.D.), redshirt junior Cael Kolacia (Fort Dodge, Iowa) and junior Wyatt Tweet (Russell, Manitoba) were recognized for their success in the classroom and on the diamond.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
Brassfield, a biochemistry and molecular biology major, carries a 3.50 grade point average. In his first season in the black and red, he produced a 4-3 record on the mound with a 5.16 ERA and 65 strikeouts in 13 starts.
Jacobson graduated with a degree in construction management with a 3.51 grade point average. He made 42 starts and appeared in 52 games in his junior campaign, hitting .246 with three home runs, 16 RBI and 10 stolen bases.
Kolacia is a construction management major with a 3.72 grade point average. He made 12 starts and 14 appearances on the mound for the Huskies, posting a 5-6 record with a 6.48 ERA and 48 strikeouts.
Tweet is an exercise science major with a 3.79 grade point average. In his first season with the Huskies, Tweet hit .321 while starting 50 games and playing in 53 games. He hit five home runs with 44 RBI, 14 doubles and 38 runs.
