QUOTABLE – St. Cloud State head coach Chad Braegelmann
Tonight was a very exciting match to start our NSIC road schedule. It was definitely our cleanest match so far this year – we really struggled to find a serving rhythm and struggled getting them (Minnesota State) out of system and I thought their passer did a great job...I thought our defense was very solid, especially in the first two sets, but we really got out played the entire third set and the first 35 points of the fourth set. After that, we flipped a little bit of a switch and made a couple of big plays...Our hitters really challenged the block of Mankato, and we did a great job scoring some points and getting some kills late. When push came to shove at the end of the fourth set, I think our experience helped us out a ton.
