
St. Cloud State Golf Heads to Larchwood, IA for the USF Fall Invitational

Huskies head to The Falls GC to continue their fall schedule
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Golf will travel to Larchwood, Iowa for the University of Sioux Falls (USF) Fall Invitational at The Falls Golf Course. This will be a 36-hole tournament, taking place on Monday, October 12th-Tuesday, October 13th.
The Men's lineup will consist of Owen Hoehn, Cameron Kaye, Peyton Carr, Carter Whitworth and Tate Helland. The Women's team will bring three individuals, Emma Forsberg, Emma Ryan, and Alyssa Scherping.
Scouting the Golf Course
Spanning over 7,100 yards, Grand Falls' world-class golf course offers panoramic views of the pastoral countryside and includes a 30-foot waterfall that flows into a 12-acre lake, resulting in a memorable golfing experience for golfers of every ability level.
Last Time Out
The Husky men's golf team is coming off a 5th place finish at The United Printing Marauders Invitational, which included collegiate debuts for Tate Helland and Noah Klapmeier.
St. Cloud State Golf finished the United Printing Marauders Invitational hosted by UMary in Bismarck, ND, with the Men shooting a final round score of +18. The men's team finished at +35 for the tournament (+17, +18) for a total score of 611 (305 + 306). The Huskies women's team's three individuals completed their tournament at the United Printing Marauders Invitational, with Emma Forsberg leading the way.
The Husky men's golf team was led by Freshman, Owen Hoehn, who shot a two-round total of +6 (75, 75) to finish tied for 14th. Hoehn had four birdies on his scorecard today, finishing his round with a birdie on the par 4 fourth hole. Making his collegiate debut, Tate Hellend finished second on the team with a two-round total of +7 (75, 76) while Cameron Kaye and William Spence tied for third on the team with two-round totals of +11 (Kaye: 78, 77) (Spence: 77, 78). Noah Klapmeier did not have a counting score today but finished with a two-round total of +21 (83, 82) in his Huskies debut.
The Husky women's team competed with three individuals, Emma Forsberg, Alyssa Scherping, and Emma Ryan. Forsberg shot +33 today for a two-round total of +56. Scherping was eight shots better today shooting +34 for a two-round total of +76, while Emma Ryan shot +60 today for a two-round total of +118.
