What is main purpose of this project?
The synthetic turf in Husky Stadium was determined to have completed its lifecycle with 10 years of use (an average replacement time). Upon inspection of the turf it was determined that it failed in most areas of performance and was also beginning to approach unsafe levels. The turf provides thousands of participants programming space and serves the needs of intercollegiate athletics, Campus Recreation, academics and community use.

What is the estimated timeline for completion?
Mobilization will begin on Monday, May 19th and continue into July.

How many square feet of turf will be installed?
90,000

What design elements will be included in the turf?
Center logo, end zone color, end zone lettering to include Huskies on one end and St. Cloud State on the other.
