2021: Valdez earned NSIC All-Conference Honors for the first time in her career with First Team recognition. She is the eighth Husky to earn First Team honors since St. Cloud State rejoined the NSIC in 2008. She started all 18 games for the Huskies. She scored three goals, including one game winning goal, two assist, eight points, 28 shots, and 12 shots on goal. Her three goals were scored against Winona State (Sept. 24), Sioux Falls (Oct. 3) and Concordia St. Paul (Oct. 17).

2020: The 2020 fall season was cancelled due to COVID-19.

Before SCSU: A 2018 graduate of Fremont High School...a transfer from Gillette College, where she played soccer in 2018 and 2019...4X soccer letterwinner in high school...also earned three letters in basketball at Fremont H.S...helped team at Fremont finish as the runner-up at the state tournament in 2017 and helped her prep basketball team win a state title in 2018...at Gillette, she helped team win NJCAA Region IX and North Plains District titles along with advancing to NJCAA national tournament as a seventh seed in 2019...named Region IX Player of the Year...also played basketball at Gillette College...scored seven goals and eight assists at Gillette in 2019.

Personal: The daughter of Kelly Valdez and Kristin O'Dell...pre-physical therapy and biomedical sciences major at SCSU...enjoys boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, sewing and juggling...has a twin sister.
