Before SCSU: A 2013 graduate of Brandon Valley High...Rist was a three-sport athlete as she played soccer, basketball, and track...Named Academic All-State in basketball and a three-time varsity letter winner...Two-time Conference Champion and four-time varsity letter winner in track...In soccer she was a four-time letter winner...Team captain senior year and defensive player of the year...Played on the Dakota Alliance club soccer team for 12 years.

Personal: A member of the National Honor Society and a Honor Roll student in high school. She intends to major in criminal justice at St. Cloud State. Rist is the daughter of Ken and Bridget Rist.
