2010-11: In his first season of competition at SCSU, Ellington placed second for the Huskies at the NCAA DII Super Region 3 meet at 133-pounds...a 2011 NCAA national qualifier at 133-pounds...finished season with a 17-11 record.
Before SCSU: A 2006 graduate of East St. Louis High School, where he wrestled for Coach Demond Carter...wrestled for two season at Rend Lake College in Illinois...62-28 record as a prep wrestler...lettered in wrestling...All-Conference and a state qualifier at East St. Louis...56-12 as a JUCO wrestler at Rend Lake...placed second and third in nation at NJCAA championships...NJCAA All-Academic award winner in 2008.
