Aaron Konitzer will serve as a graduate assistant wrestling coach for the St. Cloud State University wrestling team during the 2015-16 season.
A 2013 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh (physical education major/health education minor), Konitzer was a three-time varsity competitor for UW-Oshkosh during his collegiate wrestling career. Excelling off the mat, Konitzer earned Division III wrestling Academic honors in 2012.
In 2013-14, Konitzer taught physical education and health at Port Washington H.S. in Port Washington, Wis. He also served as an assistant wrestling coach for the Pirates and coached four wrestlers to the WIAA state tournament, which included one state champion and a third place finisher.
He is a graduate of Oconto Falls High School in Oconto Falls, Wis. He was a four-year starter and three-time team captain for the Panthers. Konitzer charted a 109-44 record in high school and was a state qualifer during his senior season.
