Volleyball Wins Third Straight, Defeats U-Mary 3-0

Bismarck, N.D. -- The St. Cloud State University volleyball team traveled to Bismarck, N.D. where they took on the Marauders of the University of Mary this evening. The two teams battled tough, but the Huskies came out on top, winning three straight sets with scores of 25-17, 25-23 and 25-21.
The Huskies improve to 11-5 overall, 5-3 in the NSIC. The University of Mary falls to 3-12 overall, 0-8 in conference action.
Head Coach Michelle Blaeser recapped the match stating, "It was a challenging match, but we had a great team effort. Successful blocking was key to the momentum change."
Dani Domeier (Norwood Young America) had a team-high 10 kills, eight digs and three service aces.
Kaitlin Doughty (Tomahawk, Wis.) finished with nine kills. Allison Butler (Burnsville) and Kellan Flynn (Tomahawk, WIs.) each posted eight kills. Butler had a team-high .538 attack percentage.
Flynn had six blocks on the night and Ellie Dietzen (Black Creek, Wis.) collected five.
Erin Ohlemann (Golden Valley) dished out 37 assists.
Alexis Jacobs led the Marauders with 12 kills.
