Volleyball: SCSU Travels to U-Mary and Minot State

The St. Cloud State University volleyball team will hit the road to the University of Mary and Minot State this weekend. The Huskies will take on the Marauders of U-Mary on Friday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. The Huskies match-up vs. Minot State is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m.

St. Cloud State Notes

The Huskies are coming off two NSIC wins over Winona State (3-1) and Upper Iowa (3-0).
They hold a 10-5 overall record, 4-3 in conference action and sit at 7^th place in the NSIC standings.
Allison Butler (Burnsville) is number one on the NSIC Service Aces/Set leader board. She has tallied 23 aces this season averaging .43/set.
Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson) ranks sixth in the NSIC in digs/set. She has totaled 239, averaging 4.35/set.
Ellie Dietzen (Black Creek, Wis.) sits at seventh place in the NSIC in hitting percentage. She has 162 kills in 331 attempts with just 38 errors for a .375 attack percentage.

U-Mary Notes

The Marauders are currently suffering from a seven-match losing streak. Their most recent conference losses have come to the University of Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State.
They hold a 3-11 overall mark, 0-7 in the NSIC.
Alexis Jacobs leads U-Mary with 134 kills, averaging 2.85/set.

Minot State Notes

The Beavers are coming off a 3-2 win over the University of Sioux Falls and a 0-3 loss to No. 7 Southwest Minnesota State.
They stand at 7-9 overall, 3-4 in conference play.
Jen Dixon leads Minot State in kills with 205 this season, averaging 3.31/set. Dixon also leads in service aces and digs.
