SCSU Soccer at Home vs Augustana and Wayne State

St. Cloud, Minn. - The St. Cloud State women's soccer team is staying at home this week as they take on Augustana College (S.D.) on Friday, Oct. 4 and Wayne State on Sunday, Oct. 6. Game times are set for 3 p.m. and 1 p.m. respectively.
SCSU soccer will be heading to North Dakota, Oct. 12 & 13 as they take on the University of Mary Saturday, Oct 12, and Minot State on Sunday, Oct 13. Both game times are set for 1 p.m.
Tickets for all SCSU Soccer home games can be purchased at the gate the day of the event or you can purchase in advance by going to www.scsutickets.com. Attention SCSU students! All SCSU students with a valid St. Cloud State student ID card will be admitted FREE to all regular season Husky home soccer games in 2013. Just show your ID card at the gate and get in free...it is that easy!
- St. Cloud State heads into this week's games holding a 3-4-1 overall record and a 0-4-1 record in the NSIC.
- Augustana College comes in with a 7-1 overall and 5-0 NSIC record, while Wayne State holds a 1-6-1 overall and a 1-3-1 NSIC record.
- The Huskies currently leads the all-time series with Augustana holding a 9-4-4 record since their first meeting in 2000 and also leads the all-time series record of 5-1-0 with Wayne State since 2007.
- The SCSU soccer team took to the road this past weekend for their first NSIC road games of the season as they traveled to Southwest Minnesota State on Saturday and rounded out the weekend at Sioux Falls on Sunday.
- The Huskies first game of the weekend was a battle against SMSU as they fell by a final score of 1-0.
- The first half was a game of defense as it was scoreless after the first half of play.
- At the 81:23 mark of the game, SMSU took the first lead of the match. Leading the Huskies in shots against SMSU was senior captain Kara Dahmen, as she put-up three shots including two on goal.
- On Sunday the Huskies had another game of defenses as they tied the USF Cougars 0-0 in double overtime.
- Leading the Huskies in shots against the Cougars was sophomore Gabby Fleck as she tallied four shots, including three on goal.
- Senior Kara Dahmen followed Fleck, as she recorded two shots, both of which were on goal.
- Brittany Plombon was in the net for the Huskies recording a total 14 saves on the weekend and moved her record to 3-4-1 on the season.
