SCSU Travels to MSU Moorhead and Northern State

The St. Cloud State volleyball team is back on the road this weekend as they travel to Moorhead, Minn. and Aberdeen, S.D. The Huskies will take on Minnesota State University, Moorhead on Friday, Oct. 24 and Northern State University on Saturday, Oct. 25. St. Cloud State is looking to break their eleven-game losing streak.

St. Cloud State Notes:

SCSU is 7-14 overall and 1-7 in the NSIC.
Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson, Minn.) is now fourth on SCSU's career record book with a total of 1,263 digs. Stamer is still ranked second in the NSIC in digs with 363, averaging 5.17 digs per set.
Erin Ohlemann (Golden Valley, Minn.) ranks seventh on SCSU's career record book with a total of 2,411 assists. Ohlemann ranks sixth in the NSIC for assists, totaling 702 on the season and averaging 10.08 assists per set.
Kaitlin Doughty (Tomahawk, Wis.) leads the Huskies in kills with 186 on the season, averaging 2.62 kills per set.
Kellan Flynn (Tomahawk, Wis.) leads SCSU in blocks with a total of 55.
SCSU averages a .221 attack percentage as a team.

Minnesota State University, Moorhead Notes:

MSU Moorhead is 9-12 overall and 4-9 in conference play.
The Dragons are coming off a loss to Bemidji State (0-3) and a win over Minnesota-Crookston (3-0).
MSU Moorhead ranks fourth in blocks as a team, averaging 2.09 blocks per set.
Kaitlin VanWinkle is ranked second is the NSIC in blocking with a total of 77 blocks. VanWinkle also leads her team in kills with 253, averaging 3.42 kills per set.
Sydney Foss is ranked fifth in the NSIC with service aces with a total of 25 on the season.
Head coach Tammy Blake is in her 20th season with the Dragons.

Northern State University Notes:

The Wolves are 15-6 overall and 8-5 in the NSIC.

Northern State is coming off of two win against Minnesota-Crookston (3-2) and Bemidji State (3-1).
The Wolves are ranked third in the NSIC as a team with a .282 attack percentage and fourth in kills, averaging 14.16 kills per set.
Kelsey Chambers ranks fifth in the conference for kills, averaging 3.94 kills per set.
Drew Smith ranks second in the NSIC for assists. Smith has posted 722 on the season, averaging 13.13 assists per set.
Head coach Brent Aldridge is in his fourth season with Northern State University.
