Aberdeen, S.D. – The St. Cloud State volleyball team took on Northern State University this evening in Aberdeen, S.D. The Huskies had a rough first and second set losing to the Wolves significantly. SCSU managed to take the third set but couldn't pull off the win losing 1-3 with final scores of 11-25, 10-25, 25-21 and 22-25.

St. Cloud State falls to 7-16 overall and 1-14 in the NSIC. Northern State University improves to 16-7 overall and 9-6 in conference play.

Kaitlin Doughty (Tomahawk, Wis.) led the Huskies with 13 kills. Kellan Flynn (Tomahawk, Wis.) and Erica Hallmann (Muskego, Wis.) followed Doughty with six kills.

Erin Ohlemann (Golden Valley, Minn.) recorded 36 assists, 3 kills and 3 blocks.

The Wolves averaged a .336 attack percentage compared to the Huskies .168. SCSU made it dificutly on themselves racking up a total of 22 attack errors.

Mandy, Kurosky led Northern State with 14 kills. Drew Smith posted 53 assists.

The Huskies return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 28 as they travel to Duluth, Minn. To take on the #2 Bulldogs. Minnesota Duluth is 22-1 overall and lead the conference 15-0.
