Kruchten and Enstrom lead women's golf to third place at Tiburon Invitational

Omaha, Neb. – St. Cloud State posted a team score of 692 and placed third at the Tiburon Invitational played at Tiburon Golf Club in Omaha, Neb., Sunday and Monday.

The Huskies posted a team score of 350-342 for a 692. Iowa Western Community College won the team ties with a team score of 662.

Katie Kruchten placed second in the individual standings after firing a 79 on the final day to go with an 86. She finished at 165 just three strokes behind the medalist, Joana Yanez of Iowa Western.

Laurel Enstrom shot a 91 in the final round for a 75-91-166 and place sixth among the individuals.

Rounding out the Huskies line-up, Ashlee Lindeen shot 93-88 for a 181, Brooke Taylor shot 88-96 for a 184 and Shelby Sauer carded a 98-92 for a 190. Taylor Chase, playing as an individual posted a score of 103-90.
