Columbus, Neb. -- The St. Cloud State women's golf team placed fourth in the nine-team Upper Iowa Women's Spring Golf Invite played Saturday and Sunday at the Quail Run Golf Club in Columbus, Neb. The Huskies showed improvement from the first to second rounds knocking 21 strokes off their team total, posting a team score of 352-331-683.

Brooke Taylor led the Huskies as she tied for sixth place on the individual leaderboard, with rounds of 80-82 for a 162. Laurel Enstrom shot the Huskies low round, a 78 on the final day and finished in a tie for 11th place with a two-day toatl 167. Katie Kruchten tied for 22nd place with a 92-83-175.

Rounding out the team score were Ashlee Lindeen who tied for 27th after rounds of 91-88-179 and Shelby Sauer who finished in 39th place with scores of 97-91-188. Taylor Chase, playing as an individual, shot 97-100 and placed 43rd.
