Women's golf finishes in sixth place at Golden Bear Invitational

St. Paul, Minn. -- The St. Cloud State women's golf team placed sixth at the Concordia University, St. Paul Golden Bear Invitational held Saturday and Sunday at the Tartan Park Golf Course in St. Paul.
Final Results
The Huskies posted team scores of 329-332 for a 661 on the par 72, 6,019 yard layout. The host school, Concordia St. Paul won the invite with a team score of 628. Tavia Rutherford of the University of Sioux Falls was the individual medalist shooting 73-76 for a 149.
St. Cloud State was led by Katie Kruchten (St. Cloud). Kruchten shot consistent rounds of 79-78 for a 157 to tie for eighth place among the individual leaders.
Laurel Enstrom posted a top 25 finish with a two day total of 161 and rounds of 81-80. She tied for 17th place.
Next up for the Huskies is the St. Ben's Invitational on Sept. 20-21.
