SCSU Soccer on the road to Northern State and MSU Moorhead

The St. Cloud State University soccer team (1-3-0, 0-1-0 NSIC) will continue its 2014 conference schedule with a pair of road games this weekend. On Sept. 20, the Huskies will at Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D. The match will begin at 1 p.m. SCSU will complete the weekend with a 1 p.m. match on Sept. 21 at Minnesota State University, Moorhead.
Northern State owns a 2-2, 1-0 NSIC record in 2014, while Minnesota State, Moorhead currently owns a 1-2, 0-1 NSIC record this fall.

- Brittany Plombon recorded a season high 12 saves in UMD game on Sept. 14, making her season total 30 saves in 4 games.
- Taige Thorseson led the team with 4 shots on net last week, pushing her total up to 10 shots after 4 games.
- Abby McDonald scored her first career goal for the Huskies in the game vs. Emporia State on Sept. 12.
- Last year, SCSU charted a 4-1 win at home against Minnesota State, Moorhead and a 1-0 loss to Northern State.
- The Huskies will continue their travels next weekend with road games at Winona State on Sept. 27 and Upper Iowa on Sept. 29.
- SCSU will return home on Oct. 4 for a 1 p.m. home date against Southwest Minnesota State.
- Tickets for all home games can be purchased at the gate on game day.
