Women's golf ranked 12th in Central Region, next up NSIC Championship

St. Cloud, Minn. -- For the second straight week, the St. Cloud State women's golf team is ranked 12th in the NCAA Division II Central Region rankings.
Five Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) teams are ranked in the region poll with Augustana College coming in at #2. Concordia-St. Paul (5), Minnesota State (8) and Upper Iowa (10) are also ranked.
The Huskies are headed Dacotah Ridge Golf Course in Morton, Minn., for the final two rounds of the NSIC Championships Saturday and Sunday, April 25-26. St. Cloud State is in sixth place midway through the 2014-15 Championships after posting team scores of 364-356 for a 720 in the first two rounds played last fall in Brainerd.
Sophomore Laurel Enstrom (Rock Island, Ill.) is tied for 15th place on the individual leaderboard. She posted rounds of 82-93 for a 175 in the fall portion of the tournament.
The Huskies spring championship line-up will include Enstrom, senior Katie Kruchten (St. Cloud, Minn.), junior Brooke Taylor (Chandler, Ariz.), and first year players Madison Tenney (Evergreen, Colo.) and Kendall Niehaus (Fremont, Neb.).
