Volleyball On The Road For A Pair Of NSIC Matches This Weekend

Takes on No. 14 Winona State on Saturday Afternoon
St. Cloud, Minn. – The St. Cloud State volleyball team (12-7, 4-5NSIC) plays a pair of NSIC road matches this weekend. The program begins the weekend and travels Fayette, Iowa to take on Upper Iowa (15-3, 6-3 NSIC) on Friday, Oct. 13, at 6 p.m. at the Dorman Gymnasium. The program continues the road swing and heads to Winona, Minn. to take on No. 14 Winona State (13-4, 7-2 NSIC) on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 3 p.m. at McCown Gymnasium.

- St. Cloud State went 2-1 last week with a non-conference victory over Bemidji State on Tuesday and a thrilling 3-2 comeback win over Minnesota State on Saturday.
- The team's only loss on the week was to the then No. 2 ranked team in the country, Concordia-St. Paul.
- Redshirt freshman Abby Templin and senior Becca Gruber tied for the team lead on the week with 26 kills.
- Templin also hit .294 in the three matches.
- Junior Krista Kuglin totaled 25 kills while hitting .356.
