Huskies place 35th at NCAA Division II championships in 2017

The St. Cloud State University women's swim and dive team finished its 2016-17 season with a 35th place finish at the 2017 NCAA Division II women's swim and dive championships at the Crossplex in Birmingham, Ala. on March 8-11.
Queens won the team title with 467 points, while Drury was second with 385 points.
In the final day of competition, SCSU's 400 yard freestyle relay team of Bridget Opdahl, Emily Tiedemann, Chelsea Gehrke and Andrea Bryson placed 15th with a time of 3:27.28.  The finish provided the Huskies with All-America Honorable Mention status in the event.
In the other event of the day on March 11, SCSU's Bryson placed 19th in the 100 yard freestyle event with a time of 51.15.
