Lauren Woeflel finishes third in 3-meter dive, 400-medley relay team finishes second

WEST FARGO, N.D. – The St. Cloud State Women's Swim & Dive team had two all-conference performances on the second day of competition at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Championships in West Fargo, N.D. Halfway through the meet, SCSU sits in second place with 384.5 points, trailing only Minnesota State with 565.5 points.

Sophomore Lauren Woelfel (Becker, Minn.) earned the top individual finish of the day for the Huskies, finishing third in the 3-Meter Dive with a score of 422.00. SCSU then continued its impressive finishes in relay events, earning its third top-four finish in three relays with a second place finish in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:47.53. Earning a silver medal for the Huskies was freshman Margherita Spada (Genoa, Italy), sophomore Hallie Drossel (Melrose, Minn.), sophomore Carly Salzer (Oshkosh, Wis.) and sophomore Emma Hoppman (Red Wing, Minn.).
