ROUND 1 PREVIEW
On the Huskies' NSIC Tournamement media day, All-NSIC outfielder Mitch Mallek stated the Huskies are "taking this tournament one game at a time... The only for sure way we make a regional is by winning the conference tournament." St. Cloud State realizes the importance of each game from here on out especially in a tournament field as loaded as this year's. Associate head coach, Rob Swendra believes the team has been looking forward to this tournament all season long. "This is the time where they can just come out and play loose... Offensively, we are going to come out and attack that first pitch then go from there."
The Huskies enter the conference tournament with a team .320 average that leads the NSIC.
From a pitching standpoint, the Huskies are led by All-NSICÂ second team selection, Dominic Austing and junior right-hander, Kyle Boser.
