SCSU celebrates goal on Nov. 22 at UND.

The St. Cloud State University men's hockey team (2-5-4, 0-3-0 NCHC) lost a close 4-2 decision at #5/6 North Dakota (9-1-2, 4-0-1 NCHC) on Friday, Nov. 22 at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D.
The Huskies and Fighting Hawks will complete their weekend series in Grand Forks, N.D. on Saturday, Nov. 23 with a 7:07 p.m. game. Fans can listen to the game on The River 96.7 FM and KVSC FM 88.1. Fans can also watch the game live on MidcoSN and Fox College Sports. The game will be available for online viewing at NCHC.tv/scsu.
North Dakota took a 1-0 lead in the contest on Nov. 22 with a goal by Shane Pinto at 8:43 of the firtst period wtih an assist from Westin Michaud. UND charged to a 2-0 lead with another goal by Pinot at 5:37, which included assists from Jordan Kawaguchi and Michaud.
The Huskies then broke the shuout at 7:16 of the second with a goal by Luke Jaycox, which was assisted by Micah Miller and Jake Wahlin. This was Jaycox' first goal of the seaosn, while it marked the third assist of the season for both Miller and Wahlin.
UND then charted the eventual game winner at 10:51 of the second with a goal by Collin Adams. Later in the second period, SCSU's Nick Poehling scored a power play goal at 12:33 with assists from Sam Hentges and Jack Ahcan to make it 3-2.
In the final period of play, UND wrapied up the result with an empty net goal at 18:58 by Cole Smith.
In the contest, UND outshot the Huskies 34-18 as David Hrenak made 30 saves in the contest for the Huskies.
