ST. CLOUD, MINN. - There is no place like home. It's Homecoming on the St. Cloud State University campus, and the nationally ranked volleyball team is happy to return home after a weekend on the road. After a weekend away, the #14 Huskies return to Halenbeck Hall to host Mary at 6:00 p.m. CT on Friday and Minot State at 2:00 p.m. CT on Saturday.
It will be a busy weekend in Halenbeck Hall and St. Cloud State in general. In addition to Homecoming festivities, this weekend will serve as the Alumni Weekend for Huskies volleyball, and the team's annual Dig Pink match will happen on Saturday against Minot State. This year, St. Cloud State is looking to raise $1500 for breast cancer awareness, and fans can donate either during the match or on the team's Sideout Foundation page. Camper Reunion Night is also scheduled for Friday's match against Mary.
Regardless of vaccination status, all fans must wear masts to St. Cloud State volleyball matches in compliance with the school's COVID-19 policy. Additionally, all fans must enter Halenbeck Hall Door 2 at the north side of the building to purchase tickets.
Live stats, video and radio coverage will be available for both Friday and Saturday's matches in Halenbeck Hall. Score updates will also be made to the team's official Twitter account (@scsuhuskies_vb).

Here are five things to know before this weekend's Homecoming matches:
14 - After upending #9 Winona State in five sets last weekend, St. Cloud State moved up two spots to #14 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) top-25 poll this past week. The Huskies were one of five teams from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) ranked in the AVCA top-25 poll and one of 10 from the Central Region.
6 - For six consecutive weeks, since the season started actually, St. Cloud State has played at least one volleyball team that was ranked or received votes in the AVCA top-25 poll. For the first time all season, that will not be the case this weekend. Neither Mary nor Minot State was ranked in the AVCA top-25, as both rank towards the bottom of the NSIC standings.
1000/1000 - Fans will want to get to Halenbeck Hall early on Friday, as the Huskies will honor senior outside Linsey Rachel (Maple Lake, Minn. / Maple Lake) before the match. Last weekend, Rachel became the fourth player in program history to join the 1000/1000 club, recording her 1000th career kill against Upper Iowa on Friday before tallying her 1000th career dig against the Warriors on Saturday. If that weren't enough, Rachel also broke the program record for career double-doubles two weeks ago and already holds the record for first year kills.
11.52 - Rachel isn't the only Husky making headlines in 2021. Fifth year senior setter Maddy Torve (Loretto, Minn. / Heritage Christian Academy) has been a star for St. Cloud State all season long, as she leads the NSIC with a 11.52 assists/set average this season. However, Torve isn't just the best setter in the NSIC, as she currently ranks fourth in the nation in assists/set and sixth in total assists.
.257/13.88 - With a setter like Torve, it's no wonder the Huskies possess one of the top offenses in the country. As a team, St. Cloud State is hitting .257 and averaging 13.88 kills per set, numbers that rank 19th and 17th in the nation respectively. The Huskies also rank 16th in the nation in team assists (836) and 15th in team total blocks (151.5) through the first month of 2021.
