QUOTABLES
St. Cloud State Women's Hockey Head Coach Steve Macdonald
"We didn't start well today. We started really passive, not engaged, not focused on some of the details that we talk about during the week. That resulted in us trying to manufacture things in the middle and trying to create momentum, which is hard to do. You can't rely on momentum. You just can't within the game. You have to rely on the focus on the details, and we didn't start the game with that. We started to put some of those piece together, but in this league it's tough to do that. Obviously today was a special teams-filled day, and it's hard to get into a rhythm with that, but that wasn't the difference in the game today. It was how we started, and our attention to starting a game well. That was the difference. "
