Baseball to host John Berling Memorial Golf Tournament on September 11

ST. CLOUD, MINN. - The St. Cloud State University baseball John Berlin Golf Classic is making its grand return in 2021. After a year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will return this upcoming fall to the Wapicada Golf Course in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. The John Berling SCSU Baseball Golf Classic Sponsored by Texas Roadhouse will take place on Saturday, September 11 with a 12 p.m. shotgun start at the Wapicada Golf Course.Â
The John Berling SCSU Baseball Golf Classic is open to the public, and registration costs $150 per golfer. All those who register prior to August 15 will only have to pay $125. This cost covers 18 holes of golf and a cart, brat and beverages on the course, door prizes and awards, dinner and a Huskies baseball souvenir for all participants. Additionally fans can purchase dinner only for $15 and hole sponsorships are available for $100. All proceeds will go directly to the Huskies baseball program.Â
"We are really looking forward to having our John Berling Husky Baseball golf tournament back at one-hundred percent," head baseball coach Pat Dolan said in a statement. "As we all know, the last year has been difficult, but let's get all the Husky fans, alumni and supporters back to pack Wapicada again!"
The shotgun start is set to begin at 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 11 with registration starting roughly at 11 a.m. Dinner will begin at approximately 5:30 p.m. after the conclusion of the tournament.Â
