Huskies will run at 12:45 p.m. CT on Friday in Minneapolis
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The St. Cloud State Women's Cross Country team will compete for the second time this season at the Roy Griak Invitational in Minneapolis, Minn. The University of Minnesota is set to host the annual race at Les Bolstad Golf Course, with the Division II & II race slated to start at 12:45 p.m. CT.
Official results for the meet will be available at gophersports.com shortly after the meet is finished. The Huskies plan to send 10 runners to the start line on Friday.
The Huskies opened the 2021 season by finishing second at the CSB Triangular Meet at Boulder Ridge Golf Course on Sept. 4. Junior Cheresa Bouley (Zimmerman, Minn.) was the top finisher for the Huskies, as she finished second in the 6K race at 22:37.5, while freshmen Greta Freed (Rochester, Minn.) and Allie Butte (Oshkosh, Wis.) each recorded top-10 finishes, crossing the finish line at seventh (25:08.5) and ninth (25:36.5), respectively.
