St. Cloud State Women’s Soccer Starts Road Trip with Augustana and Wayne State

Huskies currently sit in ninth place in NSIC standings, one point behind Winona State for playoff berth

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Soccer (4-5-4, 3-3-4 NSIC) continues Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) play this weekend with a pair of road matches. The Huskies will travel to Augustana (6-5-2, 6-3-1 NSIC) on Friday, Oct. 14 at 4:00 p.m. CT and Wayne State (2-7-4, 2-5-3 NSIC) on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 1:00 p.m. CT.

Last week, the Huskies dropped a close contest with Minnesota State Mankato (2-1) on Friday before played to a tie with Concordia St. Paul (0-0) on Sunday. Sophomore forward Megan Kirby (Navarre, Fla.) scored her fourth goal of the season against the Mavericks, while redshirt sophomore Evie Kohn (West Lakeland, Minn.) recorded her 10^th career shutout against the Golden Bears.

Augustana heads in the weekend winning four of its last five matches and currently slotted in the fifth spot in the NSIC standings, while Wayne State is 1-2-2 in its last five games played and is in 11^th place.
