Dominguez Tallies Two in Huskies 3-0 Win over MSUM

Dominguez nets her fifth and sixth goals of the season, seventh career game-winning goal
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Soccer (6-7-4, 5-5-4 NSIC) scored twice in the first half and once in the second half to cruise to a 3-0 victory over Minnesota State Moorhead (2-10-3, 2-9-3 NSIC) on Sunday afternoon at Husky Stadium. Senior forward Jenna Dominguez (Geneva, Ill.) scored twice in the game, while redshirt sophomore goalie Evie Kohn (West Lakeland, Minn.) recorded her seventh shutout of the season.
TURNING POINT
After neither team was able to score in the first 28 minutes, Dominguez scored twice in six minutes, finding the back of the net in the 28th and 34th minute. Both scores came on assists from freshman defender Ellie Primerano (Saint Joseph, Mich.). The Dragons were never able to get close again after that point, as the Huskies dominated the pace of the game and led the shots-on-goal, 21-2.
TOP HUSKIES
St. Cloud State will close the regular season on Thursday, Oct. 27 when the Huskies travel to Minnesota Duluth. Kickoff from Duluth is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. CT.

- Dominguez scored her fifth and sixth goals of the season and recorded her second multi-goal game this season after also doing so against Minnesota Crookston on Sept. 30. She now has seven game-winning goals in her career, which ranks third all-time in program history.
- Junior forward Niamhie Taylor-Hughes (Wexford, Ireland) scored her first goal as a Husky in the third period.
- Primerano recorded her second and third assists of the season.
- With two saves, Kohn posted her seventh shutout of the season and the 12th of her career. Her seven shutouts rank third all-time in a single season in program history, while her 12 career shutouts rank fifth.
