
St. Cloud State Women’s Soccer Closes Regular Season with UMD

Huskies will travel to face Minnesota Duluth on Thursday
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Soccer (6-7-4, 5-5-4 NSIC) will close its regular season on Thursday when the Huskies travel to face Minnesota Duluth (8-6-3, 7-4-3 NSIC). Kick off from Duluth is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. CT at Malosky Stadium.
Last week, the Huskies fell to Northern State, 1-0, in Aberdeen before coming back home to defeat Minnesota State Moorhead, 3-0, on Sunday. Senior forward Jenna Dominguez (Geneva, Ill.) led the way for the Huskies, scoring two goals against the Dragons. Dominguez scored her fifth and sixth goals of the season and recorded her second multi-goal game this season after also doing so against Minnesota Crookston on Sept. 30. She now has seven game-winning goals in her career, which ranks third all-time in program history. Redshirt sophomore Evie Kohn (West Lakeland, Fla.) posted her seventh shutout of the season and the 12th of her career in the win. Her seven shutouts rank third all-time in a single season in program history, while her 12 career shutouts rank fifth.
Minnesota Duluth enters the match with an 8-6-3 record, including a 7-4-3 mark in conference play. The Bulldogs currently sit in seventh place in the NSIC standings with one game remaining. Earlier this season on Sept. 2, the Bulldogs defeated the Huskies, 4-1.
