
St. Cloud State Men’s Soccer Announces 2022 Schedule

Huskies will play 16 games in 2022 slate, host nine at Husky Stadium
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – After a successful inaugural season in 2021, the St. Cloud State Men's Soccer team is ready for the 2022 season to begin. The Huskies announced their fall schedule Wednesday, which includes 16 contests against strong nonconference and Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) opponents.
The Huskies will kick off the season at home for a two-game series against South Dakota School of Mines on August 26 and 27. In total, St. Cloud State will host nine of their 16 games here at Husky Stadium, with opponents including Colorado Christian (Sept. 3), Davenport (Sept. 23), Purdue Northwest (Sept. 25), Saginaw Valley (Oct. 14), Northern Michigan (Oct. 21), Wisconsin Parkside (Oct. 23), and Upper Iowa (Oct. 26).
On Sept. 3, St. Cloud State will begin a four week stretch of conference play in Wisconsin against the UW-Parkside Rangers. During the four-week span, the Huskies will play six out of eight games on the road, facing five conference opponents including Saginaw Valley (Sept. 18), Davenport (Oct. 9), Upper Iowa (Oct. 2), and Northern Michigan (Sept. 11). The Huskies will return home to close regular season play, hosting four games against GLIAC opponents.
St. Cloud State Men's soccer closed their first season in program history with a 4-13-1 overall record during regular season, and a 3-11-0 mark in GLIAC play.
