SCSU Wraps up Non-Conference Schedule
St. Paul, Minn. – St. Cloud State Men's Soccer (2-1-2, 0-0-0 GLIAC) wrapped up their non-conference schedule Saturday afternoon as they were defeated 6-1 against St. Thomas. SCSU scored their lone goal on a penalty kick in the 86th minute.
St. Thomas got off to a fast start as they scored two goals in the first 18 minutes of the game. The Tommies tacked on another goal in the 40th minute as they went into halftime leading 3-0 with five shots on goal. St. Thomas continued their offensive surge in the second half as they scored another three goals. The Huskies got on the board in the 86th minute as Mahmood Maldonado knocked in a penalty kick. The Huskies were ultimately defeated 6-1 in St. Paul, Minn.
