Huskies fall to 2-6-1 and 0-3-1 in conference play

ST. CLOUD, Minn. - St. Cloud State Men's Soccer (2-6-1, 0-3-1 GLIAC), lost to the Northern Michigan Wildcats (4-0-3, 2-0-1 GLIAC), 4-0 in a conference battle in St. Cloud.

The Huskies came out of the gates handling most of the possession but did not get many good looks at the net. Towards the end of the first half in the 37th minute, Northern Michigan put themselves on the board and led 1-0 entering halftime.

The second half was all Northern Michigan, as they scored three goals to carry their four-goal advantage to victory. Huskies were outshot 14-4 (8-2 SOG) and failed to convert any goals in the loss. The Huskies will hit the road for two games before their next home game on October 9th.
