Huskies fall to the Cardinals in Michigan
ST. CLOUD, Minn. - St. Cloud State Men's Soccer (3-7-1, 1-4-1 GLIAC) fell to Saginaw Valley State (5-1-4, 3-1-2 GLIAC) 4-0 after giving up four 2nd half goals.
The Huskies got off to a promising start, as Kingsley Kanu almost got things going SCSU's way in the 9th minute, firing a shot off the crossbar. The rest of the first half would prove to be a defensive battle, as Erik Willke saved four, and both teams went to the locker room scoreless.
The second half was all Saginaw Valley State, as they scored four unanswered goals to defeat the Huskies 4-0. Huskies tallied just one shot on goal in the entire game to the Cardinals 10.
