Dachtler scores in 76th minute to give Huskies the draw

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Soccer played to a 1-1 draw with Upper Iowa on Sunday at Husky Stadium. Freshman Jada Dachtler (Iowa City, Iowa) scored the first goal of her career in the second half to help the Huskies pull even with the Peacocks in the second half.

TURNING POINT

After the Huskies fell behind 1-0 following a Peacock goal in the 72^nd minute, St. Cloud State responded quickly with Dachtler's goal in the 76^th minute. The scoring chance came off a corner kick, as senior forward Jenna Dominguez's (Geneva, Ill.) centering-pass was knocked to the front of the net, where Dachtler snatched up the rebound and barried a shot behind the goalie for the score.

TOP HUSKIES

Dachtler scored her first career goal in just her seventh collegiate game.
Dominguez led the offensive attack for the Huskies, recording four shots on the day.
Redshirt sophomore Evie Kohn (West Lakeland, Minn.) recorded one save in the game.
