St. Cloud State Baseball Announces 2024 Schedule

Huskies will open 2024 at Houston Winter Invitational at Houston Astros’ Minute Maid Park
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Baseball has officially announced its 2024 season schedule. The Huskies will open the 2024 campaign Feb. 2-4 at the Houston Winter Invitational, which is hosted by Central Missouri at the Houston Astros' Minute Maid Park before two nonconference road trips and a 40-game Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) schedule.
The Huskies will begin playing at the home of the two-time World Champion Houston Astros to begin the season, playing Southern New Hampshire, Arkansas Tech and Millersville on Feb. 2-4, respectively. It will mark the third trip to the Houston Winter Invitational for the Huskies, who also opened the 2016 and 2019 seasons at the event.
The Huskies will take two more nonconference trips in 2024, as SCSU heads to St. Joseph, Mo., for a three-game set against Missouri Western (Feb. 9-11) and four games in Colorado against UC Colorado Springs (Feb. 23-25) and CSU Pueblo (Feb. 26).
New in conference play this season, the Huskies will open NSIC play with a pair of four-game sets at neutral site venues. SCSU will open conference play against Southwest Minnesota State on Feb. 17-18 in St. Joseph, Mo., and Augustana on March 15-17 (site TBD).
The Huskies will return to the upper Midwest in the end of March for conference play, with 14 games scheduled for Joe Faber Field and its home opener set for Sioux Falls on March 28-30 (four games). The Huskies will also host Mary (April 13-14, three games), Minnesota Duluth (April 17, two games), Minnesota Crookston (April 24, two games) and Bemidji State (May 3-4, three games).
On the road in conference play, the Huskies will head to Minnesota State (March 22-24, four games), Northern State (April 5-7, four games), Concordia-St. Paul (April 10, two games), Wayne State (April 20-21, three games), Minot State (April 27-28, three games) and Winona State (April 30, two games).
The Huskies will defend their conference tournament title at the 2024 NSIC Tournament, which will once again be played in Bismarck, N.D., slated for May 16-19.
