Quam scores in 74th minute to secure draw

BISMARCK, N.D. – St. Cloud State Women's Soccer (6-2-3, 3-1-3 NSIC) played to a 1-1 draw with UMary (5-2-2, 3-1-2 NSIC) on Friday afternoon in Bismarck, N.D. Junior midfielder Brooke Quam (Lakeville, Minn.) provided the equalizer for the Huskies in the 74^th minute to get the Huskies on the scoreboard.

TURNING POINT

The Huskies goal from Quam changed the momentum of the game, as the Huskies controlled much of the game after that point. Quam's goal started when junior forward Ellie Primerano (St. Joseph, Mich.) was able to work her way around the defense and feed Quam in the box for the score to pull even. The Huskies had nine shot attempts alone in the second half.

With the draw, SCSU moves to 11-7-2 all-time against U Mary.
Quam's first goal of the season was the fourth of her career and moved her to 21 career points.
