
Reschko Finishes Runner-up in 100 Fly at NSIC Championships

Reschko finishes second in 100-yard butterfly, Huskies remain in third place after day two
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – St. Cloud State Women's Swim & Dive had seven top-eight finishes on the second day of competition on Thursday at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Championships in Sioux Falls, S.D. Junior Anna Reschko (Frankfurt, Germany) earned All-NSIC honors following a runner-up finish in the 100-yard butterfly, finishing with a time of 56.16.

Augustana continued its lead in the championships with 430.5 points after the second day of competition, while Minnesota State (399) and St. Cloud State (301.5) remained in second and third place, respectively. Sioux Falls is currently in fourth place with 301.5 points while Concordia St. Paul is in fifth place with 193 points.

Day three of the championships continue tomorrow at the Midco Aquatic Center in Sioux Falls. Swimming prelims will take place at 10:00 a.m. CT and finals at 5:30 p.m. CT.

- The Huskies finished four-five-six in the 400-yard IM, with sophomore Claire Salzer (Oshkosh, Wis.) finishing fourth at 4:33.57, junior Meredith Bangs (Muskego, Wis.) finishing fifth at 4:33.93 and freshman Kate Turner (Greendale, Wis.) finishing sixth at 4:36.85
- In the 3-meter dive, junior Christen Mayberry (Denver, Colo.) finished fifth with a score of 383.70 while junior Kailey Fossell (Tower, Minn.) finish sixth with 381.40 points.
- SCSU's 400-yard medley relay team of sophomore Natalie Gneiser (Baraboo, Wis.), senior Kara Cowell (Neenah, Wis.), junior Demi Peterson (Williston, N.D.) and sophomore Alba Silva Alcoba (Amposta, Spain) finished fourth at 3:54.43.
