
Eight Huskies Receive Academic All-District® Recognition

Four from women’s hockey, two apiece from men’s hockey and wrestling cited by CSC in at-large program for academic and athletics performance
GREENWOOD, Ind. – Eight St. Cloud State student-athletes have been named to the 2023-24 Academic All-District® At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC) including four from women's hockey, two from men's hockey and two from wrestling.
The Academic All-District® At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District® At-Large teams, a student-athlete must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA or higher in both undergraduate and graduate studies (if applicable), be in at least their second year of competition at the collegiate level and meet athletic participation criteria that is unique to their sport. For men's and women's hockey, nominees must have competed in 90% of the team's total games played or have started 66% of the team's total games. For wrestling, nominees must have been in the lineup for in a minimum of 70% of matches which were team scoring events.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on July 16 (women) and 17 (men).
