SCSU seemed to be poised to take the lead with a third period power play, but UND capitalized on a loose puck at the blue and raced the other way for the game-winning score shorthanded. UND added an empty netter with time running out to make the score 4-2 in a game where SCSU outshot UND 37-25 and won the faceoff battle, 37-23.
