
SCSU Women’s Swim & Dive Finish Third at NSIC Championships

400-yard freestyle relay team earns all-conference honors with runner-up finish
WEST FARGO, N.D. – The St. Cloud State Women's Swimming & Diving finished the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Championships in third place with 688.5 points on Saturday in West Fargo, N.D. The Huskies finished the meet strong with nine top eight finishes, including an all-conference performance from the team's 400-yard freestyle relay team who finished second.
TEAM SCORES
Augustana finished the NSIC Championships in first place with 944 points, while Minnesota State (879) and St. Cloud State (688.5) finished in second and third, respectively. Sioux Falls finished fourth place with 632 points while Concordia St. Paul finished fifth with 424.5 points.
TOP HUSKIES
- SCSU's 400-yard freestyle relay team of senior Meredith Bangs, senior Anna Reschko, freshman Emma Hoppman, and senior Kendall Gonzalez, finished earned all-conference honors with a runner-up finish at 3:28.23
- In the 100-yard IM, junior Natalie Gneiser finished sixth at 59.96
- In the 200-yard breaststroke, junior Claire Salzer finished eighth at 2:26.59
- Senior Kailey Fossell finished fifth in 3-meter diving with a score of 375.00 points

The Huskies will next compete in the NCAA Swim & Dive Championships, set for March 11-15 in Indianapolis, Indiana
