Â
The dual began at heavyweight with Elijah Novak recording a 9-2 win over Nathan Schauer before the dual flipped over to the lightweights. At 125 pounds, Conor Knopick dominated his opponent Landon Fisher with three takedowns, two near-falls and a reversal to earn a 15-2 major decision. Knopick improved to 9-1 on the season with his third major decision victory and fifth bonus point victory of the season.
Alyeus Craig earned a 2-1 win over Braydon Mogle that was sandwiched between wins from Northern State at 133 and 149 pounds. Then, Nick Novak continued his winning ways in the first match following intermission, as he earned a ranked win over No. 4 Devin Bahr, 5-2.
