Before SCSU: Played at Skutt Catholic High School in Omaha where he earned two varsity letters … Hit .346 with 38 RBI, 47 R and 30 SB in prep career … Was a two-time Perfect Game Preseason All-American and a four-time Perfect Game All-Tournament Team honoree.
Personal: The son of Shawn Robinson, Kelly Sopinski and Matt Sargent … Has one sibling, Grant Sargent … Plans to major in Recreation and Sport Management and minor in Business … Also played basketball in high school where he helped his team win a state championship … Earned Academic letter award recognition in high school … Outside of baseball, enjoys being with friends, playing with my dogs, pickleball, video games and hitting with his brother … Would like to coach his brother in baseball when he gets older.
