Bio
2022-23: In his second season with the Huskies, Rex appeared in two games before having to sit out the rest of the season due to injury.
2021-22: In his first season with the Huskies, Rex appeared in 11 total games and played 21 minutes. He scored 14 total points with two rebounds, two assists and one steal during the season. Rex scored a career-high eight points in a loss to MSU Moorhead on December 17.
Previous experience: Prior to joining St. Cloud State, Rex played for Notre Dame De Namur.
High School: While at Rancho Bernardo, Rex was named team captain and earned a slew of accolades, including First Team All-Conference. He was named to the California State All-Tournament Team and was voted an All-Star his senior season. Additionally, Rex earned the Coach's Award for his play on the court.
Personal: Son of Jim and Donna Rex. His hobbies include playing basketball, watching football, and spending time with friends and family. Majoring in Biomedical Sciences at SCSU. Would like to work in the neurology field one day.
Why Rex chose SCSU: "I have traveled to Minnesota a few times and decided I was interested in going to school here. Once the coaches reached out to me, I knew this is where I wanted to be."
