Bio
2019: Krenz saved the best for last, as she was one of two Huskies to appear in all 32 matches and 117 sets for St. Cloud State. As a senior, Krenz earned multiple awards for her outstanding defensive performances, as she was once again named the NSIC Libero of the Year as well as First Team All-NSIC, AVCA First Team All-Central Region, D2CCA Second Team All-Central Region and AVCA All-America Honorable Mention honors. A three-time NSIC Defensive Player of the Week honoree, Krenz was not only the top libero in the NSIC, but a top-10 libero in the nation as well, as she led the conference in both total digs (655) and digs/set (5.68) and ranked top-20 in the nation in both categories throughout 2019 and helped St. Cloud State end the season as the top defensive team in the NSIC. Additionally, Krenz cemented her name in the record books in more ways than one, becoming the Huskies all-time leader in career digs with 2227. Krenz will also close her career ranked second (665), third (628) and sixth (487) all-time in single-season digs and currently ranks sixth all-time in single-match digs thanks to her career-high 34 against Winona State as a junior in 2018.
2018: As a junior, Krenz became the first Husky libero to earn the NSIC Libero of the Year honor in program history and was named Second Team All-Conference for the second consecutive season. Statistically, Krenz was the top libero in the conference all season long, as she led the conference in digs/set average (5.24) and was third in total digs (487) at the end of the year. However, Krenz truly excelled against conference opponents, as she averaged a conference-leading 5.33 digs/set against NSIC foes while racking up 384 digs. Additionally, she was No. 12 in the conference in aces (26) and aces/set (.83) versus NSIC opponents and was named the conference's Defensive Player of the Week for the third time in her career on October 1. Following the season, Krenz is No. 3 all-time in career digs.Â
2017: As a sophomore, Krenz became the first Husky since 2015 to earn All-NSIC honors... the libero was named Second Team All-NSIC after leading the conference in digs (628) and digs/set (5.92) at the end of the regular season... Krenz also became just the seventh student-athlete in school history to eclipse the 1000 career digs mark and is currently No. 7 on the all-time career digs list (1075)... Krenz ranks No. 2 all-time in single-season digs (628)...Â
2016:  In her first season with the Huskies, Krenz played in 29 matches and 104 sets...led team with 447 digs...also added 56 sets and 25 service aces for the Huskies...hit a season-high with 34 digs in match against Winona State...also had 25 digs apiece in matches against MSU Moorhead and MSU Mankato...hit a season game-high with six sets against MSU Moorhead.
Before SCSU: A 2015 graduate of North St. Paul High School, where she played for coach Steve Anderson...3X team MVP...named Best Defense award winner four times...3X All-Conference...3X team captain...named to All-Metro team...3X Breakdown Book honoree...helped prep team go to state finals for three years in a row...played club volleyball for the North Juniors.
Personal: Â The daughter of Robert and Lynne Krenz...bio-med major and Spanish minor at SCSU...on honor roll for four years in high school..enjoys working out, hanging out with friends and family and snowmobiling.
