Matt Chapman moved to the Associate Athletics Director, Athletics Revenue & University Ticketing position in May 2018. He oversees all athletic & university ticket sales as well as serving as the primary department liaison with St. Cloud State Sports Properties. He previously served 12 seasons as the coordinator of hockey and video operations at SCSU from 2006-2018. Chapman also served as the video coach for Team USA at the IIHF World Junior Championships in 2017 and 2018. Chapman helped Team USA win the gold medal in 2017 and the bronze in 2018 at the World Juniors. A graduate of Bethel University in 2006, Chapman majored in Athletic Training and he is a certified athletic trainer. At Bethel, Chapman served as the men’s basketball athletic trainer during the 2005-06 season. He played one year of hockey at Bethel, and he is from Bloomington, Indiana. Chapman attended Culver Military Academy, where he played soccer, hockey, baseball and track. Chapman and his wife Alicia reside in St. Cloud with their son William.
