2016-17 (Senior): Served as team captain ... one of nine players to appear in all 36 games ... scored four goals, including one on the power play, and set new career highs with seven assists and 11 points ... enjoyed a career day on Sept. 29 vs. Merrimack, recording three assists ... blocked 30 shots, which was the second-most among team forwards ... charted 74 shots on goal .. named to the WCHA All-Academic Team for the third time.
2015-16 (Junior): Played in 35 games...Registered five goals and nine points and 54 shots on net... -28 +/- ...9/18 PIM...Blocked 26 shots defensively...Named to the WCHA All-Academic Team.
2014-15 (Sophomore): Competed in 37 games...Score four goals and two assists for six total points on the season...Second on the team in shots on net with 107...-19 +/-...6/12 PIM...21 blocked shots...Named to the WCHA All-Academic Team.
2013-14 (Freshman): Played in 34 games...Recorded three goals with four assists and put up 54 shots...-18 plus/minus...7/25 PIM...Posted 18 blocked shots defensively...Scored her first collegiate goal against Minnesota on Nov. 9...Tallied two goals at Minnesota State on Feb. 7...Top scoring rookie with seven points...A two-time WCHA Rookie of the Week for Nov. 13 and Feb. 12...Voted the team’s Rookie of the Year.
Before SCSU: Played hockey for Shakopee and was a four-year varsity letterwinner in girl’s hockey...Received All-Conference Honors four years in a row and was awarded the Rasmussen Award as well as the Ms. Hustle award...Recorded 80 goals and 90 assists totaling 170 points in her high school career.
Personal: Received All-Academic Honors in high school as well...Enjoys hanging out with friends, hunting and fishing and watching movies...Daughter of Lance and Linda Hespenheide.
