2011-12: Competed in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free and the 50 fly as a freshman swimmer for SCSU…swam a leg in the 200, 400 & 800 freestyle relays as well as the 400 medley relay…posted the sixth best time of the season in the 200 freestyle by touching the wall in 1:58.50 (12/2/11)…was apart of the best 200 freestyle relay time of the season (1:35.43) at the Minnesota Challenge (2/3/12).

HIGH SCHOOL: Originally from Grand Forks, N.D., Mirna Kojic is a Red River Senior High School graduate…won five varsity letters for the Roughriders…coached by Bryan Walls…was a three-time All-State First Team and Eastern Division All-Conference selection…a team captain for her final two seasons…voted the Eastern Division Conference Senior Athlete of the Year…Kojic participated in the North Dakota State High School Swim Meet since the eighth grade…as a senior, she was crowned the State Champion as part of the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay teams…garnered runner-up honors in the 50 free and third place honors in the 100 free at the State Tournament.

PERSONAL: The daughter of Marko and Marina Kojic, Mirna…landed on the ‘A’ honor roll all four years of high school…was a member of the National Honor Society and National Technical Society…enjoys playing soccer, running, making crafts and reading in her free time.
