SCSU Soccer Drops Game at Minnesota State

The Huskies found themselves down 4-0 at halftime and came out in the second half making adjustments to get on the board at the 61:00 mark of the game. It was sophomore Michelle Cornell firing a shot into the right side of the net off an assist from Kara Espinosa making it a 5-1 game.
Cornell came back at the 72:20 mark for the Huskies to only trail by three as she headed the ball into the net off the assist by Kara Dahmen.
Minnesota State continued to extend their lead sealing a 7-2 victory over St. Cloud at the 85:01 mark of the game.
Sharing the net for the Huskies Friday was sophomore Brittany Plombon and junior Taige Thoreson.
St. Cloud State (6-6-1, 3-6-1 NSIC) will be back in action on Sunday, Oct. 20 as they head to St. Paul for a match up against Concordia-St. Paul. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
